Every Word — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Every Word is a family of apps for reading and listening to books of the Hebrew Bible in Hebrew and English: Mizmor (the Psalms) and Bereishit (Genesis). This policy applies to every Every Word app. It explains what the apps do with your information. The short version: nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. The apps do not collect, store, or send any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, no email address, no name, and no location.

Network

All texts, audio and pictures are included inside each app. The apps make no network requests. They do not contain analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

What stays on your device

An app remembers your own settings — text size, theme, chosen voices, the last psalm or chapter you read — on your phone only. This information never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes it.

Links

The "About" page lists the sources of the texts and artworks. Tapping a source opens that page in your web browser. Those websites (for example Wikimedia Commons or Sefaria) have their own privacy policies.

Children

The apps are suitable for all ages and collect no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
